Everyone in this category says they tested twenty hooks. We have not tested any, and we say so.

What we publish instead is checkable: the manufacturers' own specifications with a link to each source, sizing and yardage computed from the Craft Yarn Council standard, live prices with the date attached, and an explicit statement wherever the published evidence does not settle a question.

A testing claim asks you to take someone's word for it. This gives you the means to check ours.
