The short answer
Buy the Clover Amour set if you want a comfortable hook in every ordinary size - ten hooks from 2.25mm to 6.0mm with a soft elastomer grip. Buy a Furls Streamline if your hands hurt and the Amour grip is still not thick enough, because the resin handle is roughly 16-17mm at its widest, which is far larger than any set hook. It is one hook, in one size, at a price where that matters.
These get compared because they are the two answers to 'my hands hurt', and they arrive at it from opposite directions - one by putting a soft sleeve on a normal-sized shaft, the other by making the whole handle much bigger and rigid.

Handle diameter is the whole argument
Sustained pinch force is what produces the ache crocheters describe in the thumb web. The wider the handle, the less force it takes to hold securely - that relationship is the entire basis of ergonomic hook design.
- A bare aluminum hook is about the thickness of a pencil, and needs the most pinch.
- An elastomer-grip hook is thicker and, crucially, compliant - the surface deforms slightly against your fingers, which spreads contact.
- A 16-17mm resin handle is much thicker again, and rigid rather than soft.
Size coverage, which is where it gets practical
The Amour set spans 2.25mm to 6.0mm in ten hooks - the range almost every published pattern in DK and worsted uses. Buying it once covers most of what you will ever do.
Furls Streamline runs from H/5.00mm up to P/10.00mm depending on the release. That starts where the Amour set is nearly finished and extends well past it, into blanket and super bulky territory. The two ranges overlap over roughly one size.

A single premium hook is a reasonable purchase if you already know the size you use most and you already know a normal grip is not enough. As a first ergonomic purchase it is a gamble on one size.
Resin, honestly
- Hand-poured means variation. Each hook is individually made; the pattern in yours will not match the photograph exactly.
- Rigid, not cushioned. If what your hands want is softness, resin is the wrong answer.
- Warm to the touch, in a way aluminum is not.
- Drops badly. Resin on a hard floor is a risk that aluminum simply does not carry.
- It is also a decorative object, and a share of the price is that. That is a legitimate thing to buy; it is worth being clear it is what you are buying.
The cheap experiment first
Both of these are upgrade purchases, and the thing being upgraded is comfort. Before spending on either, buy one bare aluminum hook in 5mm and crochet for an hour.
- No ache? You may not need an ergonomic hook at all.
- Ache in the thumb web? That is pinch force. Try the elastomer grip first - it is the cheaper of the two answers.
- Still aching with a soft grip? That is when a much thicker rigid handle becomes the sensible next thing.

Which is more comfortable, Furls or Clover Amour?
That depends on your hands and nobody can tell you from a specification. The Amour spreads pressure with a soft compliant sleeve; the Furls reduces how hard you squeeze with a much thicker rigid handle. They are different solutions, not degrees of the same one.
Does the Clover Amour set cover blanket-sized hooks?
No. The set stops at J/6.0mm. For bulky and super bulky blanket yarn you want 8mm to 10mm, which means buying outside the set or choosing a hook range that goes there.
Are resin crochet hooks durable?
In normal use, yes - but resin dropped on a hard floor can chip or break in a way an aluminum hook will not. Each one is also hand-poured, so the pattern varies between individual hooks.
